Julie Hooker, LADC, M.S.

Julie brings with her years of experience in the field of substance use and recovery. She received her training for her license in alcohol and drug counseling (LADC) through Minneapolis Community and Technical College and went on to obtain a bachelor's in Human Services at Metropolitan State University. She earned her master's in Social and Community Services at Capella University. Julie is a native Minnesotan and understands the issues facing our homeless and substance using populations. As an owner and director of Resurrection Recovery, Julie brings this wealth of knowledge and experience to implement a client-centered approach, focusing on substance use, homelessness and mental health issues. By utilizing best practices and a collaborative relationship with the clients, Julie hopes to promote wellness through a continuum of care model that supports the stages of change and creates a positive relationship with the client throughout their journey of recovery. 

Sandra Tallman, LADC, B.A.

Sandra received her associate's of Applied Science in American Sign Language Interpreting and Transliteration from St. Paul College and received her bachelor of arts from Metropolitan State University. Sandra received her education in Chemical Health from Century College. She is trained in the Native American Substance Abuse Curriculum and Adolescent Development. Sandra is a trained Motivational Interviewing Coaching Circle Facilitator and a member of the Alcohol and Drug Counselor Coalition of Color. Sandra is fluent in American Sign Language (ASL) and has worked with the Deaf Community for over 15 years. Sandra has worked in the chemical health field for 6 years in various capacities. 

Sahra Mohamed 

Sahra obtained an associate's degree in Medical Administration and is currently the administrative assistant at Resurrection Recovery. Sahra came to this organization with great excitement to work in the field. She enjoys talking to people and helping them navigate the treatment process. Currently, Sahra schedules intakes and assessments and assists new clients with the intake and orientation process. She fields the bulk of phone calls and manages our Fast-Tracker link. 

Laurie Tatreau, LADC

Laurie completed 880 hours of ADC-T internship at Resurrection Recovery. After Laurie received her ADC-T, she was hired full-time. Laurie is conscientious and dedicated, willing to go the extra mile to get things done. Laurie brings with her not only the educational requirements needed, but she also has valuable life experience in co-occurring disorders.
